Soleri bells in the batfry

Well I am a bit nuts about Soleri bells I will get some better pics but here you go for now.

  1. I just thought you should know that the tubular chimes photographed with your Soleri bells were probably made by Bill Park of Flint Point Brass, or by his ex-partner Wayne Wilson. (I am only mentioning it because recently several sellers on eBay incorrectly identified similar chimes on eBay as by us in order to increase their selling price! Sometimes these tubular chimes have been mislabeled as by Walter Lamb, who never even made any chimes!)

The bronze bells of course are genuine Soleri wind bells -- and I can even tell that one of your bells was made by me: your #118B (the large bell with bar link.) Your #118P (large bell with the plate link) was made by David Koppe who worked here for 29 years.

    1. Daniel I have spoken to you I think twice, Once when making a decision to purchase a bell from Craigs List... the #118B which I absolutely love. What a strange world. It was my first large bell purchase. Thanks for always being so charming, helpful and even more importantly so knowledgeable. Three of my bells are David Koppe with the diamond mark. I love his designs as well. The info on the chimes is great I was not sure who made mine but definitely have always believed the general Walter Lamb attribution. I love a good solve. Thanks for keeping the Arcosanti spirit of sharing and community alive and I feel honored to have spoken to person who made my bell!
